It’s almost launch time! Next week on the 18th and 19th of March, will be the launch event for the European Research Council (EIC), one of the most prominent additions to Horizon Europe. The EIC will support disruptive/breakthrough innovations too risky for private investors, either through Pathfinder grants (for early tech) or Accelerator grants (for pre-commercial tech).
The EIC is an extremely ambitious initiative, with a grand budget of €10 Billion, which is certain to be a very popular funding route for researchers. As such, it is well worth joining the launch event next week, where the first calls will be officially released, and researchers will undoubtedly receive valuable insights into the driving principles behind funding opportunities.
There’s no need to register, simply tune in to the livestream (link here) and find out what opportunities are on their way. For more details on the agenda, check out the official news page for the launch event here. If you don’t have the time to follow the full event, we at Modus will be providing a summary of the most important takeaways, so be sure to check back here if you won’t be attending the launch itself!
